Pumpkin garland

More Saturday fun. We made pumpkin garland. DD didn't get all of hers orange but she did a great job for a 1 year old.
DS forgot to turn some of his to do the other side so some are upside down but they do look like very cool pumpkins! Some of our pumpkins. Look at our BEAUTIFUL pumpkin garland!!!!!
DS looked at the garland once it was hanging and asked about the ones that aren't all orange. I said that it was cold last night so maybe the frost hit the ones his sister did. Then he asked why some are upside down. I told him that I thought he did that to make them look very scary! LOL!

Mini pumpkin painting

I used painting tape to mark off the pumpkin for my 1 year old.
This is her first time with black paint. I am not sure why but she liked the look and feel of the black paint so much she giggled the entire time.
She did cover most of it without a problem. She liked looking at the black on her hands. I have only ever let her paint with red, yellow, and blue before. I thought that letting her mix colors would be more fun. I now see that she "needs" to play with all the colors. I think he favorite color is now black. This is her pumpkin

This is a picture of my 6 year old doing his mini pumpkin. He does his crafts on his own. I am happy he is able to do his own thing but I miss the days of when I got to help. They grow up so fast!

Busy box #5

This is box #6 I did buy this stuff a few weeks ago. I got it from the dollar store. I think this is 3 packs of fish. I bought them because they are large enough that my little one can't choke on them.
We set up the coral and we make the fish swim around it. I will also put some water in the box for the fish to swim in.

Busy box #4

Another baby busy box
I took off the handles so she can't choke on the little pumpkins. We are using them to count, stacking them and saying some pumpkin poems with them right now.
