Turkey puppets

I spread out my fingers as far as I could and traced around my hand on some scrap fabric. I made it very wide at the wrist so a hand can get in and out easy. I cut out 2 layers and I made up 2 turkey puppets. My son colored one with fabric markers I did the other. Quick, simple, cheap craft! Just the way I like it! The kids are having lots of fun with them.

Puppet Play (learning colors)

Mum Mum and Poppy sent my children this puppet! It is a big hit at our house. I put it in a basket with some of our colored balls to make a color game. We are feeding the puppet to work on colors today. It doesn't matter if my DD gets this or not I am just trying to use a FUN way to introduce colors. My alligator is hungry for green balls today. When he gets a ball that isn't green he spits it out and says I don't like the "....." color ball I am hungry for GREEN Balls. When he is feed a green ball we all clap and dance around. We sing she did it she did it she fed the gator the green ball!

TP Turkey.

My son and I made up a turkey craft today. We found a way of making a turkey without spending any money on supplies. We used a coffee filter, toilet paper core, watered down tempera paint, medicine droppers, and markers. It was easy and fun. They stand up very nice! My 1 year old thinks they are her new toys.

Egg carton turkey

Sorry I have been gone so long! My DD cut another tooth, we all caught a bug a few weeks ago, life got busy. I will try to do better. I am sorry I never posted all of our pumpkin stuff. I guess I should start posting our turkey crafts now. I am going turkey crazy. I look at all our packaging as I am tossing it. I was putting a soda bottle in the trash and pulled it out at the last second because I thought I could make a turkey out of it. LOL!

This is a Turkey made out of a piece of an egg carton. It only took a minute or two to make. My 6 year can punch the holes with a stylus and do this on his own. My 1 year old didn't help with this one. She just ran around with feathers and laughed.
