Do you wonder if I am still alive? I am sorry I vanished again. I have an excuse (a poor one but one non the less). I decided to sew all my girls fall/winter clothing (except for winter coats). I was in a hurry to do this because I knew my hubby would go shopping for expensive clothes if the weather got cold and the girls didn't have enough clothes to wear (he loves to shop). Because of that I put my computer time and my friendship projects (little things I sometimes make for friends) all on hold and focused on making enough PJ's, sweaters, ponchos, mittens, slippers, jeans, shirts, dresses, dress pants, leggings, hats, skirts, hair accessories, cloth diapers, some play costumes, play clothes, doll furniture, doll clothes, and some other things that I can't think of right now. I know I went a bit overboard. I stopped sewing when my one machine started acting up (had to send it to the shop). At that time I noticed that I had made enough clothes that each of my girls can go about a month without wearing the same thing twice. I didn't plan to make that many clothes I guess I was having so much fun designing outfits (I drafted all the patterns myself) and sewing them up I never took the time to think about the large amount of stuff I made. I have to admit I am addicted to crafting (sewing is craft of choice right now) but I am going to try to keep myself under control and get back to blogging. Everyone PLEASE forgive me! Once my machine is done being serviced I will be able to finish up my last couple friendship projects and then I might need to put my sewing machines in the closet until Jan. (to keep my sewing addiction under control)
My children are fantastic! School is going WONDERFUL! This is our best year so far. My children are all learning and having lots of fun doing it. We seem to be on track in all subjects. The baby is no longer a baby and she is now so much fun! (OK, she is fun when she is not cutting teeth).
I am going to try to blog twice a week and share some of the fun things we are doing. I promise to blog again in the next few days. I will be back soon!

I am so impressed! You'll have to show us pictures of the girls' clothes.
Thanks B! I hope to get pictures as they wear them. Demi is very picky with clothes. Her favorite outfits she wears all the time so getting pix of things she isn't crazy about might be hard to get pictures of. I do already have some pictures of some of my sewing on this blog (my girls have very few pieces of clothing I didn't make)right now.
In the "Time to Vote" post I made the headband, hair clips, shirts (I designed and sewed the owl embroidery), pants and belts to match. I love the way Zee's owl turned out but silly me didn't get a picture of it. I like the owl outfit but I had to fight Demi to get her to wear it! She would only wear it on for 3 hours that night.
In the post "Found my Monday pix" the jumpers the girls have on I made and the leggings I made (leggings made from my old maternity top). But the shirts they have on under the jumpers I did not make.
In the post "I lost my pictures" I made the yellow fleece poncho (from fabric I have had for years). I hate to admit it but I made the crazy rainbow pants (from a ribbed sweater). They are a bit wild looking NOT my favorite in things I made for the girls. It is one of Demi's favorite things to wear.
The kimono top (blue with hearts and red trim) I made. I made it to be an art smock but she will not take it off after art so she wears it as a shirt.
Below the pictures of Demi in the kimono top is a couple pictures of Zee I made her tan pants (from a pair of pants Travis outgrew). I also made the brown, blue, flower, circle print top and matching hair clips she has on with it.
In the pictures of Demi running, twirling, and swinging on the tire I made the pink and brown plaid pleated skirt and brown leggings (leggings I made from an old Gap sweater). I plan to make a top to go with that outfit but my machine broke before I finished it up so we used a top we already had to go with it.
In my post "Halloween" The Red and black outfit I made. You can't see from the picture but it has some strange long ruffled-pleated cuffs at the wrist and ankles. Demi was sad it didn't have any princess to it so she had me make it twirly and princess-y by coming up with a strange trim. Travis calls that outfit a flower outfit because he says she looks like a flower in it. LOL! I guess you can tell Demi LOVES the outfits I am not crazy about!
I guess the bright side of Demi not wanting to wear the outfits I like is, she might not wear them enough to stain or ruin them. You have to wear them to stain or wear holes. LOL!
I made a lot of the clothes by reusing old clothes. That saved me a ton of sewing time (I use hems and seams already in clothing to save time). This also saved money. Using things I was going to toss (or send to local thrift shop) saved me a lot of money. Rob did buy me some fabric but most of it was made for free from old clothing we needed to clear out of our closets.
Wow I wrote a ton. Sorry if I made you regret you asking to see pictures! I guess you can see I am a bit sewing obsessed.
