Trip to NJ part 2.
All was going well until all the cars stopped moving. An accident happened less than 1/2 mile in front of us. We found ourselves stuck on the turnpike for 2 hours! The children behaved so well! I am such a proud mommy! 2 hours stuck in the car and the only problem was D. sat in a spot T. wanted to sit. I think that is as close to perfect children as it gets!

Oh my gosh. I think I would lose my mind if stuck on the turnpike for 2 hours. I have enough trouble just driving along it to get to my in-laws house - let alone not moving on it! Your children definitely dealt better than I would have.
I had to go pee so it wasn't fun for me!!! I am so thankful my children behaved so well. I think having a van to move around in is a huge help in times like that. That and the new toys my hubby got at the dollar store when I had to change a diaper and nurse the baby earlier in our trip.
